Sir Samuel Osborn’s Deed of Gift Relief Fund

Sir Samuel Osborn headed one of Sheffield’s great tool steel-making families, who at their peak virtually monopolised the world’s manufacture of tool steel back in the 19th century.

The fund prioritises applications from former employees or their dependants of the Osborn company (which ceased to exist in 1978). It is now also open to Sheffield residents not connected to the Osborn groups of companies.
