Grants available from SYCF

Demand for grants from the South Yorkshire Community Foundation is extremely high and as such our funding streams can often be spent very swiftly.

To avoid disappointment and undue energies being spent in completing application forms, potential applicants are asked to contact the Grants team before beginning to fill out a grant application.

SYCF Small Grants Fund

Targets small, developing and less well resourced groups in South Yorkshire, where small amounts make a real difference.

Aspiration and Achievement Fund

Providing grants for activities that are using the values of the Olympic and Paralympic games to promote aspiration and achievement in the area.

The Loscar Wind Farm Community Funds

Providing grants to community groups in Harthill, Thorp Salvin, Wales and Woodall.

South Yorkshire Police Proceeds of Crime Fund

The Proceeds of Crime Fund is now closed to new applications

One Town, One Community: Have Your Say Fund

Providing grants for community and voluntary groups in Rotherham that are working to bring communities together.

Cutlers Company Grassroots Fund


Grant funding is available to support community projects that are strengthening the manufacturing and industrial traditions of the area

Third Sector ERDF Access Fund

This funding pot is now fully spent

Comic Relief

Providing grant funding to community groups and projects throughout Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield.
