Make It Happen - fast track process

COMMUNITY and voluntary groups engaged with strengthening the traditional manufacturing and industrial traditions of the area could be eligible for a cash boost through the South Yorkshire Community Foundation.

The Make It Happen grant campaign will provide much needed assistance to the area's volunteer led projects, with grants of between £250 and £700 available for those making a difference in their area. 

Potential applicants might include those that are:

The funding has been made available through SYCF's Grassroots Grants programme that offers grants to community groups throughout Sheffield, and a bumper pot has been made available for the Make It Happen grant campaign.

Voluntary or community organisations that operate for the benefit of residents in Sheffield and have an annual income of less than £30,000 could be eligible to get hold of a grant to boost their activities. 

The type of group or organisation that are eligible will:

The funding can be entirely for capital purchases (e.g. computers, photocopiers, digital projectors, etc), or for operational costs (e.g. rent, stationery, telephone costs, activities, etc) or a mixture of both.

How much can you apply for?

Grants of between £250 and £700 are available for this grant campaign.

If successful, grants must be spent by the 31st of December 2010

Who and what cannot be funded?

PLEASE NOTE: if your group has already been awarded a small grant through a community cash giveaway you will not be able to apply again through this fast track form, but should instead use the Full application process.

How to apply

FAST TRACK APPLICATION FORM FOR THE MAKE IT HAPPEN GRANT CAMPAIGN

You will be asked for your email address and then you will be sent an email and given a unique link to your own application form which is Part A of the process. Full guidelines are available when you access the link to apply on line and you will be able save the application if you cannot complete it in one go. It will then be emailed to you to print, together with Part B.

Part B requests your organisation's bank details and invites you to nominate an independent referee, who must read and sign your form. Two members of your organisation must also sign Part B to accept the Terms and Conditions, if a grant is made.

Application Parts A & B should then be posted to South Yorkshire Community Foundation at the address: SYCF, Unit 3 – G1 Building, 6 Leeds Road, Sheffield S9 3TY
