It will help South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation if you let other people know we have given you a grant.
Why? Because hearing about projects which have received money encourages our donors to continue supporting us, and helps us reach new donors.
Your project can also benefit from publicising our grant. Letting people know that South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation is supporting you can give you credibility when you are appealing to other potential donors. This is particularly true if you are a new and relatively unknown organisation.
So please include a reference to our grant in your letters and publicity materials whenever it is appropriate. You might say “Supported by South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation” on headed notepaper, leaflets or posters, or say, “We acknowledge the support of South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation” in your Annual Report or your correspondence.
You should use the Foundation’s logo on your documents, save a copy below. Simply right-click and select ‘Save image as’. Please include our logo in your relevant publicity.
If you require a copy of our logo in a different format then please email firstname.lastname@example.org.

South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation is eager to highlight the activities that its grants support, in order that it can attract additional funds to support more community projects. It isn’t essential for you to send this kind of brief update, but if you can, it can help to raise the profile of your project, as well as help the Foundation to support other projects. *Please ensure that you comply with point 10 of the terms and conditions on publicity.
