The CSE Fund

This programme awards grants to community and voluntary groups working in the field of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), trafficking, child sexual abuse and to people and families affected by these issues.

How much can I apply for?

  • grant awards are for between £1,000 to £5,000

Who can apply?

  • priority is given to small, locally based groups or organisations in South Yorkshire that have a clear understanding of the needs of the survivors and their families

What are the priorities of the fund?

To fund local groups or organisations running projects which:

  • provide outreach work and specialist support for vulnerable young people in South Yorkshire
  • build the capacity of these groups to maintain and gain the resources needed by raising their profile and that of the work that they do
  • help put a stop to further incidents through preventative and educational action

NB: Rotherham MBC has donated £20,000 specifically for the provision of counselling services to survivors of CSE and their families in Rotherham. Unsuccessful applications may also be considered as part of SYCF’s Small Grants Fund (if eligible) and may be awarded a grant from an alternative fund.
