How to volunteer or make item donations in response to the South Yorkshire Flooding

If you are interested in donating your time or goods to support those impacted by the recent flooding, then there are plenty of ways you can get involved.

Here is a list of the different ways you can currently give your support. This is based on the information we have been provided by the relevant bodies and will be updated regularly. If you would like this list updated then please email –

Doncaster Council:
Any offers of support, skills and donated goods should be made to the Advice Line 01302 735688.

Doncaster Flood Distribution Centre
If you would like to donate brand new white goods or furniture, please contact the Doncaster Flood Distribution Centre on – with your offer.

Moorends Miners Welfare & Community Development Centre are collecting item donations for those impacted by the floods.

Are looking for volunteers to help with their flood clean up efforts > 

Sheffield Wednesday
The Owls Megastore (Penistone Road) and Middlewood Road Training Complex are designated drop-off points for people wishing to donate items.

Important items include:
• Non-perishable foods
• Mops, buckets and other cleaning materials
• Clothing
• Tin foil/take away food cartons
