Trustee Week Feature: Craig McKay

It’s Trustees Week and we are spending the whole week shining a light on the fantastic trustees at South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation.

Craig McKay joined us as a trustee in 2014 and his expertise and long experience in business made him an instant asset to the Foundation. A General Manager and Director in manufacturing with over 15 years’ experience, Craig has been the Managing Director of Evenort Ltd. since November 1993.

Craig is a strong supporter of the SY100 Club, signing his company Evenort Ltd. up as a member and acting as an advocate for SY100 too.

SY100 is a supporters scheme for businesses and individuals who, like us, are dedicated to  making a difference in South Yorkshire. Read more about SY100 here >

Check Craig out in action in this video about the SY100 Club!

Many of our trustees have also served in prestigious roles in South Yorkshire and Craig is no exception. Serving as Master Cutler between 2015-16 and as a Freeman of the Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire.

Trustee’s are essential to the running of charities and help to make the UK the sixth most giving place in the world!
