South Yorkshire's Giving Network Relaunch Event

On Tuesday 3rd October 2023, we officially relaunched South Yorkshire’s Giving Network. The Network supports the core running costs of the foundation in addition to directly funding community organisations throughout South Yorkshire through dedicated SYGN funds.

Boys and Girls Club

The Boys and Girls Club works as an umbrella organisation working with youth clubs and schools across South Yorkshire, running a range of activity programmes. They were given funding to hire a youth worker to deliver health and wellbeing activities to disadvantaged children

How the Deakin & Withers Fund helps individuals

Deakin & Withers Fund helps 'Anne'

The Deakin and Withers fund was able to provide support to "Anne", who was struggling under the limited support provided by pension credits, especially after having just moved to smaller accommodation, which had required a number of necessary expenditures.

South Yorkshire Chaplaincy and Listening Service (SYCLS) aims to preserve and protect good physical and mental health. This has been supported by SYCF funding to train five people at various levels for listening.
