Trust Transfer

A trusted future for your charitable legacy

When a trust's work reaches a crossroads, its impact doesn't have to end

South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation helps charitable trusts and foundations continue their legacy through trust transfers.

We can preserve your charitable purpose, honour donor wishes and ensure funds continue to benefit communities across South Yorkshire for generations to come.

What is a trust transfer?

A lasting legacy for local communities

A trust transfer involves transferring some or all of a charitable trust's assets to South’s Yorkshire Community Foundation.

We can establish a named fund that reflects your trust's history, values and charitable objectives. The fund can continue supporting the causes and communities your trust was created to help, while benefiting from the Foundation's governance, investment management and grant-making expertise.

Your trust's story and legacy can continue, even after the original organisation has closed.
