Our year of giving

In 2024, we awarded an incredible £1.3m in grants to more than 420 community organisations across South Yorkshire.

South Yorkshire's Community Foundation approved £1,315,398 in grant funding.

Over the 12-month period, 423 grants were given to individuals, community groups and organisations in Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster. This is a 63.5 per cent approval rate.

Meet Jess

Jess is responsible for leading the team which delivers SYCF's Grants Programmes, focusing on improved ways of working and streamlining. Jess is the lead officer for managing our volunteer recruitment and training for panels - providing on-going support and an annual panel members event. Her working days are Tuesday to Friday.
