SYCF Small Grants Programme

The Small Grants Programme is a new scheme intended to support small, developing or less well-resourced community groups across South Yorkshire. Groups must have an income below £10,000 to apply.

It offers grants up to £600 for one off projects like equipment or events.

SYCF Community Grants Programme

These grants are intended for small, developing and less well-resourced groups and organisations across South Yorkshire, where small amounts of funding can make a real difference. Applicants don’t have to be a registered charity and most grants are made as one-off payments between £250 and £5,000.

In Memory of Molly Hurst: The Young People's Health & Wellbeing Fund

The Young People’s Health and Wellbeing Fund in memory of Molly Hurst is for projects which support 10 -26 year olds with their mental health and wellbeing.

Priority will be given to small, locally based groups or organisations in South Yorkshire that have a clear understanding of the needs of young people.

The funding will award grants of between £1,000 and £5,000.

Tampon Tax Fund

These grants will invest in a wide variety of projects, large and small, that aim to make a tangible and long-term difference to health, wellbeing, confidence and social/economic activity as well as addressing equality gaps.

Grant awards are for between 5,000 – £10,000.

The next round will open in the first week of September 2019.

Cutlers Company Grassroots Fund

This funding is intended for community and voluntary groups engaged with strengthening the traditional manufacturing and industrial traditions of South Yorkshire. Grants are for up to £5,000.

The CSE Fund

This programme awards grants to community and voluntary groups in South Yorkshire tackling child sexual exploitation (CSE), trafficking, child sexual abuse and those supporting people and families affected by these issues. The funding awards grants of between £1,000 and £5,000.

#iwill Fund

Youth social action has huge potential to create enjoyable opportunities and skills development for young people, benefitting local people and places.

The aim of this grant is to raise the level and quality of youth social action. The programme aim is to increase youth social action by 50% by 2020 taking the percentage of young people that volunteer from 40% to 60%.
