Sheffield Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre is a specialist, women only service which offers free confidential support to woman and girls. Funding has helped cover the cost of the telephone support service and the free counselling support the centre provides.

Exodus

Barnsley based charity Exodus provides diversionary education and activity clubs for children and young people to help turn them away from destructive lifestyles and choices. To achieve this, they utilised funding to run regular weekend camps for families, teaching family values and activities.

Boys and Girls Club

The Boys and Girls Club works as an umbrella organisation working with youth clubs and schools across South Yorkshire, running a range of activity programmes. They were given funding to hire a youth worker to deliver health and wellbeing activities to disadvantaged children

Doncaster Foster Carers

This Foster Carers Association is made up of local foster carer volunteers, who work together to provide activities for the children under their care. They aim to prevent exclusion and deprivation by giving children opportunities to socialise and enjoy themselves.

Elsecar Heritage Railway

Elsecar Heritage Railway was established in 2002 by a group of dedicated volunteers determined to reopen the railway line, closed after the miners’ strikes in the mid-eighties. Grant funding of £1,500 has enabled the refurbishment of their volunteer mess room.

Aurora Wellbeing Centre

Aurora Wellbeing Centres support local people and their families, who are living with cancer. Funding of £1,000 from SYCF's Community Grants enabled Aurora's Wellbeing Doncaster Centre, to run mindfulness and healthy living classes.
