Role Staff President Chair Vice-Chair Trustee Vice-President President Emeritus Professor Jaydip Ray Trustee Former High Sheriff of South Yorkshire (2023-24) Jaydip Ray is the Clinical Director for ENT and Hearing Services at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Professor of Otology Neurotology at The University of Sheffield and Professor of ENT for Sheffield Hallam University. Jaydip has wide experience in teaching, training, research and innovations focused on Complex Hearing loss and Auditory Implants. He lectures widely and has been the chief investigator on several large international multi-centre research projects. Jaydip is also the Deputy Lieutenant for South Yorkshire Lieutenancy with a broad portfolio of civic responsibilities. During a career spanning more than 20 years, Guy has developed considerable experience in all real estate transactions. He has a special interest in the property aspects of insolvency and corporate transactions as well as landlord and tenant acquisitions and disposals. Guy, who has an MA in Law from The University of Sheffield, also acts on significant corporate lettings, and investment acquisitions and disposals. Guy Whitehead LinkedIn page Adrian Kirk Trustee Adrian was inspired to become a trustee after learning about the incredible impact Community Foundations can have on local communities at a networking event. Born and raised in Barnsley, Adrian joined the Royal Navy in 1988 and served as an Aircraft Engineer for 29 years in the Fleet Air Arm, serving in several squadrons, units, and ships, and seeing operations in the Balkans and Gulf War II. Gaining a Commission in 1993, and after conducting degree studies at the University of Southampton, he undertook a broad range of appointments spanning media, HR, project & programme management, aviation regulation, as well as core Front Line aircraft engineering jobs. Adrian wanted to ‘give something back’ and became a Volunteer Mentor with the charity, Care after Combat, supporting armed forces veterans in the justice system. One thing led to another, and he became Chief Executive in January 2021. He is a partner at Hemingways - a specialist commercial and corporate law firm in Sheffield - with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, governance, corporate structuring, subsidy control, procurement and competition issues.
