As Business Support Manager, Jo’s work is primarily supporting the CEO, as well as providing admin support for the whole team and maintaining the day to day running of the office. Jo’s working days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Grants Officer

Emma is one of two grants officers who work on South Yorkshire Community Foundation grant programmes. She is the main contact for some programmes for organisations and individuals and is happy to help with any grant enquires you may have. She is contactable Monday to Thursday, 10am - 4pm

SYFAB Training Coordinator

Andy manages SYFAB’s training programme for community and voluntary groups whilst also delivering several of their funding courses. This allows groups to learn funding skills and expertise to enable them to improve the lives of people in their communities. He is available from Tuesday to Thursday.

Comms and Marketing Manager

Natalie is responsible for overseeing the communication and marking strategy for South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation. This includes media relations activity, social and digital media. Natalie is contactable between 9.15am and 2.45pm on Mondays and Tuesdays (only in Term times).

Lorna Lewis

SYFAB Barnsley Funding Development Worker

Lorna provides support to community groups in Barnsley, working with local partners to host funding surgeries. She is on hand to answer queries from community groups in the area. Her working days are Tuesday to Thursday.

Professor Dame Hilary A Chapman DBE RN, H.M. Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire

President

Dame Hilary is a Registered Nurse. She is an Honorary Professor at Sheffield Hallam University, an Honorary Doctor of Medicine at Sheffield University and a Fellow of the Royal College of Nursing. On the 75th birthday of the NHS, she was recognised as one of 75 nurses who has made a significant impact in the NHS.

Chair

Chris has been committed to public service throughout her working life. She has had a long career working in local government, higher education and the voluntary sector across South Yorkshire. She remains an Emeritus Professor of Sheffield Hallam University. She was previously the Chair of Sheffield Mencap and Gateway.
