Jonathan is a former Chairman of SYCF’s Trustee Board, a position he held for ten years until 2014. He’s a former Senior Partner at Wake Smith Solicitors in Sheffield and served as High Sheriff of South Yorkshire in 2007-8.

Lady Anne Neill’s charitable activities include a role as President of St Luke’s Hospice, which she has held since 2000. In 1999, she was appointed as a Deputy Lieutenant of South Yorkshire and was a Trustee at Cavendish Cancer Care for eleven years.

Alex was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Sheffield Hallam University in November 2011 for services to charity and education in Yorkshire and Humber, having previously worked as its Director of Estate and Facilities. He is also a former Chairman of Sheffield Industrial Museums Trust and Deputy Chairman of Sheffield City Trust.

Beginning in the Sheffield steel industry in 1963, David went on to hold senior positions in the sector including chairman and managing director at Spartan Sheffield. He had a spell as H.M. Lord Lieutenant of South Yorkshire from 2003 to 2015, which was followed by a honorary doctorate by Sheffield Hallam University in 2016.

A former H.M. Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire (2015-2021), Andrew is a retired chartered accountant and lawyer who has also served in the Territorial Army. He has a broad portfolio of charitable work, as a trustee to St Luke’s Hospice, Broomgrove Nursing Home, the Bluecoat Educational Trust and the Freshgate Foundation.

Since graduating in Modern Languages from St John’s College, Cambridge, Tim has been involved in financial markets. For the last 28 years he has looked after discretionary portfolios for a wide range of wealthy clients at Credit Suisse, Schroders and Cazenove Capital. He joined C Hoare & Co in 2009 to contribute to the growth of the Investment Management department and headed up the International Team in addition to his extensive onshore responsibilities. He was delighted to re-join Cazenove Capital and his former colleagues as part of the move of Hoare’s Wealth Management to Cazenove Capital. He is a member of STEP and a Chartered Wealth Manager. With over 35 years industry experience, Tim is highly-regarded among both his peers and his clients. He won CityWealth Private Banker/Investment Manager of the Year in both 2014 and 2015 and WealthBriefing’s Leading Individual (Banker) award in 2015.

Rachael is a Councillor and Cabinet member at Doncaster Council having first worked in the voluntary and community sector in the early 1990s. The power of the sector to transform lives and communities has been a constant since then. She joined SYCF to support the vital role it provides for all communities in South Yorkshire.

Treasurer

A qualified Accountant and Chartered Director with over 20 years experience in various global manufacturing organisations and experienced Trustee and NED, Victoria is an expert in Corporate Governance and risk management and currently acts as CFO for a local manufacturing company. In addition to the treasurer for SYCF, Victoria is also a Member of the Company of Cutlers, Chair of the South Yorkshire Institute of Directors, Independent Chair of the HLM EOT Trust and Trustee of the Herbert Hughes Memorial Foundation. Previously Victoria has also sat as NED for the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce, and as a member of the audit and risk committee for Sheffield Hallam University
